Vermentino

Vermentino is a quite good white berry wine variety, famous all over the Italy with its several origin controlled designation of origin. The vermentino produced in our land keeps all our area climate features, mainly high mountains very close to the sea creating a specific environment with a fantastic concentration of sea air full of iodine. This situation with our cellar choices, like a maceration on the peels under controlled temperature, allows us to get a product with more trenchant flavours. In this way you can find in the glass intense grape flavour and scient. This is why the DOC (controlled destination of origin) Riviera Ligure di Ponente is quite different from the other italian Vermentino.

Tasting features:
Color: straw yellow with golden glares
Scient: apple “golden”, exhotic fuits with some aromatic herbs
Flavour: fresh, a little bit savory and well balanced

Matchings
Vermentino is great with simple fish, shellfish, stuffed vegetables, salad vegetables cakes, light ravioli. Fantastic as cocktail with the typical “friscioi di erbette” (herbs pancakes), with ligurian rabbit with pine nuts and olives Taggiasche.
