Our wine production

Our wine production started with the passion for the wine of “nonno Adriano” (grandpa Adriano, born as Andrea Parodi). Who bought the first rough equipmen and we filled the company area (every available small corner of land) with grapevines. His passion didn’t produce money enough to allow him to dedicate a whole plot to grapevines as flowers cultivation was financially much more interesting, and all the investments were in that field. This was the boom in flowers period.

During the years, as the grapevines cultivation needed a lot of job, this passion was slowly put in a corner, but when the flowers economic trend started to decrease and it was not so easy to decide which kind of flowers had to be cultivated. This situation made Giovanni and Alfredo decide to invest in the grapevines. The first plots with grapevines were born in the name and in memory of the passion of Adriano, their father.

At the beginning the production was small but enough to satisfy the family needs but, also with the grandpa’s rough equipment only, the revenues were absolutely interesting. After many attempts they decided to create a true cellar and to use part of the company land for wine production.

The path to get a true label was not easy as burocracy doesn’t help, but today, we are absolutely proud to see our name on the bottles and we believe that this is the best way to remember nonno Adriano, as we realized a dream which could have been appeared impossible for grandpa.
